Purpose

Also used for

Power

Switching the player on/off (duh!) - automatically closes the drive.

PBC

Play Back Control (VCD/SVCD) for specific VCD's that have additional information in PBC-format.

 

Display

Toggle between regular (no data displayed), data, title remaining, chapter elapsed, chapter remaining.

 

Open/Close

Eject CD/DVD or Close drive.

 

Sub-title

Select sub-title language during movie playback
(if supported by the movie).

 

T/C search

Title/Chapter search. Enables you to jump to specific title, chapter or time.

 

Angle/Clear

Some DVD's support multiple angles. Use this button to change view angle.

 

Language

Select audio language during movie playback
(if supported by the movie)

 

Setup

Brings you the setup menu for the Yamakawa player. Use the UP, DOWN, LEFT or RIGHT buttons to make your selection. Press PLAY to confirm your selection.

Title/Digest

Used to select the desired Title or directory (MP3).

 

Resume

Resume playback after STOP or MENU.

Zoom picture 2x, 4x or no zoom. Use the buttons UP, DOWN, LEFT and RIGHT to reposition focus.

Skip-Left

Skip/Jump to previous chapter or video/audio segment.
