What hardware do I need ?
Two main issues here;
- you will need the proper PC hardware
- you will need to be in the coverage area of the satellite
This page is suitable for Satellite TV aswell
as Internet by Satellite!

Required PC Hardware
- A personal computer with the following
capabilities (check your computer manual you are not sure). Note that
many the specifications are only found on the most recent computers.

At least 266MHz processor (Pentium
Pro, Pentium II, Pentium III, Athlon, AMD K6 or other 100% compatible
processor) - better is definitly adviceable !

CD ROM drive (for installing the
software)

Available PCI-Bus Interface slot

At least 50 Mbyte free hard disk space
(installation and downloads)

Soundcard (Nice to hear the audio
on TV and Radio broadcasts)

At least Microsoft Windows 95,
Windows 98.

INTERNET ONLY:
A browser, either Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or
higher or Netscape Navigator or Communicator 4.6 or higher

INTERNET ONLY:
Modem, ISDN terminal adapter or other Internet connection
for upstream
- ASTRA Digital satellite dish (recommend
60cm or better - See Astra Coverage)
